The First Couple Days
Allright, so I was planning on updating this blog everyday, but I think we all know that is impossible. So, I guess I'll just try to update as much as I can. Surprisingly even though this is Japan, adventures don't happen everyday. I couldn't believe it either. On the other hand, there are quite a few things that I expected to see before coming here that are still comspicuously absent, such as: ninjas, samurai, gundams, dragons, hot japanese girls giving me head, etc., etc. But since my last post I have met some new people; 2 gregs, a craig, ty from miami, alex from austria, freaky (I seriosuly think thats his name, but I'm not sure) from iceland, Aldridge from Alabama, gordon from brooklyn, and a bunch of other people. For people who are reading this in hopes of going to Kansai Gaidai at some point, I guess I should explain how the first few days have been. Basically, everyone is in that really nice, "hey whats up, I'm ____, nice to meet you, where ya from" type mode, basically trying to establish as many friends as possible so they won't be an outcast come winter. For the most part, people hang out either with the people they are rooming with or people they met on the plane-ride over here (I suppose you can make some pretty good buddies in 13 hours, if you aren't devoting all of your attention to not shitting oun yourself). But everyone is really friendly, and, not surprisingly, most people are from the US (about 60%, with a REALLY surprising number of people from Alabama, of all states). So far, most of my time has been occupied with filling out forms, going to Osaka, fighting Jetlang, and a bit of drinking. Anyway, without further ado, I've got a whole slew of new pics of my trips to Osaka, and the area around KG (thats what the cool kids call Kansai Gaidai).

Above are some views of a few houses around the seminar house that I'm living in.

^And here are some shots of the temple down the street^
This is some kind of weird ass beaver thing that I've seen a couple of places around the city. His eyes say "I AM crazy. And I'll fuckin' kill you."

On the right...I'm not sure what that is, looks like some kind of memorial, and I thought it looked cool.

Here is some tower in Osaka, and a street scene in Osaka (on the way to Den Den town, the electronics district)

Both of these are from this store that sold pretty much every gundam toy / accessory ever. I guess if you are a gold member you get to use their REAL gundam.

Okay, I really can't say shit about the picture of the three guys. It's just Japan. Thats it.On the right is one of the many mechanized crab (Cancer type gundam) signs around Osaka.

On the left is the owner of a bar down the street called "Daddy Shoes," he insists that everyone call him daddy, but I really can't get into calling some dude daddy, that isn't really my father

And this is the pimp ass bike that I bought today, the "Orange Beast"
Alright, thats all for today folks, PEACE
